The Latinidad Curriculum Initiative for New York City Public Schools aims to enhance the quality of education by providing a dynamic, interdisciplinary curricular framework and lesson plans that celebrate Latinidad and its connection to the histories, accomplishments, and cultures of our City and nation.
Dr. Edmund W. Gordon (Ed.D. ’57), Richard March Hoe Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Education at Teachers College, is being celebrated as one of three recipients of the 2024 Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education!

Inspired by decolonial thinker Frantz Fanon and held on the occasion of his centennial, this event is the launch of a new faculty working group on the university and crisis, directed by C. Riley Snorton (Columbia University) and Anupama Rao (Barnard College).
